Congrats Mr. and Mrs. QU!
After the wedding we had cake (actually cookie bars), and then had a dance. It was so much fun!
After lunch we opened or valentines. I LOVED this part! The kids were being so loud because they were so excited about their valentines. All I heard was "Wow, this is so cool!" Thanks ________, this is the best valentine!"... It made my day.
Our new site words are have, for.
Remember to send in your permission slip and money for the field trip. We are so excited about it next week!

Grandparent's Day
Wednesday was Grandparent/ Grandfriend Day! This was the first year we have done this, and from the feedback we have gotten so far, it was a success! I don't know how many times I was thanked for letting them come or told how much fun they had!
WARNING: I TOOK A LOT OF PICTURES... I hate to miss a moment! :)
We began the day by tye-dyeing coffee filters, making a "Love You To Pieces" craft and playing board games.
Next was lunch and we filled a ton of tables! Good thing we went to lunch 20 minutes early so we didn't hold everyone up!
After lunch we read books and drank hot chocolate. The kids even read some of the books from their book boxes to their Grandparents. I bet they were impressed! Next we cut our coffee filter into a snow flake and played Roll A Grandparent dice game.
At the very end of the day, I got the kids moving by playing some Brain Breaks. I think this was one of the best parts of the day! The grandparents loved watching their grandchild dance! We ended the day by singing "Love Grows." We usually sit in a circle on the carpet, but I had the kids sit with their Grandparents and sing.
