Last week was space week! Space week is such a fun week to teach, but it also is a crazy week! And it didn't help that it was so cold and we had a lot of indoor recess!
We did a lot of cool things this week. We used watercolors to paint planets, star stickers to create our own constellations, watched some amazing videos and read a lot of books.
After lunch on Friday, NASA (Mrs, Lenzendorf) buzzed our room and cleared us for take off! We sat on our chairs and watch a video of a space shuttle blasting off!
After we landed in space, we walked down to the "Space Station" in room 100 and had a great day doing centers with the whole Kindergarten!
We made moon pictures, read books and colored pictures, played a moon game with scooters, blasted off rockets, made constellations out of marshmallows and toothpicks, and made space food (pudding)!
You can tell by Drake's head that it must have been a great time! He was sweating in his space helmet by the end!
New sight words: have, for
