This week we started learning about Christmas Spirit. (Not like there weren't already in it!) It has been so much fun reading all the Christmas stories! I have so many holiday books that I never am able to get through them all!
Last week our 4th Grade Buddies asked us questions about what we wanted from Santa. They also asked where we lived, who lived with us, where Santa should put the presents, and if he should bring anything for any family members. During the week, our buddies took that information and wrote a Santa letter for them! So on Friday, they got to mail their letters to Santa! I wasn’t able to get a picture of everyone (since my flash was so slow), but here are a few of us mailing our letters!! Hopefully we get a response! :)
We also made a peeking reindeer. They turned out so cute! I put some of them peeking out the window towards the 4K kids and the other half looking inside our window!
Tuesday we went to the Christmas store. I LOVE seeing the kids shopping for you! I love to hear the explanations of why "My mom will absolutely love this!" Or "My dad really needs this!" I hope everyone enjoyed their gifts (because I know most of you already got to open them!)
It was also Remmington and Natalie’s Birthdays!
Since money can be kind of tight during the holidays, we have decided (as a Kindergarten team) not to have a gift exchange. If you would still like to send a gift, you are more than welcome to get one for the classroom! (Ex. cars, games, dolls, bottles, art supplies …)
