Our reading series this week was all about learning how to care for pets. I thought that opening a pet store in our classroom would be a great way to explore all of the responsibilities that come along with having and caring for a pet. The students took on many roles this week including: customer, groomer, cashier, pet care worker, and animal trainer. They even helped get the store set up by making signs and organizing materials. They took their responsibilities very seriously and we had a great time learning about and exploring pet care this week.
