December is Here!

This week we started learning about Christmas! We have been making some cute projects and playing some fun games. Our 4th grade buddies even asked us what we wanted for Christmas and are helping us write a letter to Santa! We are going to mail them out next week... I sure hope we get a response! :)

Our new sight word was you this week!  (I, can, the, we, see, a, like, to go, you.)
On Friday we started learning about math equations like the big kids! We did a worksheet about adding and subracting numbers like 2+3=5. Some got the hang of it very quick, and some are coming along pretty well... it's always a stuggle at first, but it doesn't take long for everyone to catch on!

We will be visiting the Christmas store next week. Please send your $0.50 for your child to get a present for you!

We have 3 more kids that can tie their shoes! Great job, Max, Dylan and Ruby! Just in time for winter!

We worked really hard on making our Christmas chain! Remember to take one off every night until Christmas! 

We have had a big week getting ready for our Christmas program. We have practiced singing the songs, made props, and even made a video! We can't wait for you to see it!  Remember to send back your RSVPs for the Program so we are sure to have enough chairs!

Snow Gear- Please remember to send snowpants, boots, hats, coats, gloves, hats and shoes for your child to wear during the day! It also doesn't hurt to send an extra pair of gloves if you are able... sometimes they haven't quite dried from the last time we played outside! If your child does not have snowpants or boots, they still will be going outside, they will just have to stay on the cement.

December 22nd- Early Release (There is a calendar that you might have gotten at the beginning of the year that has it listed as a full day.)
