One more week until Christmas!

We have been learning about number partners in math. We learned that the number 6 can be made by 2 and 4, but also a 5 and 1. We have been using our math trays for this, but this week we have been using our bodies! Here we are showing 4+3=7.

 Owen got a GOLDEN ZERO with the dice game! The kids were so excited! He is only the second one this year to get one! (Payton got it her first time playing.)

Friday we had Grinch day and watch the movie How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Since we could dress up in green or like a character in the movie, Leah and I dressed like Cindy Lou Who! It was a pretty quiet day for us because we had 5 kids sick! Brynn and I were the only girls in the class! 

 After hearing about everyone's weekends today, I think this quick little flu bug that has been going around has hit almost everyone in the class! Good thing most were sick on the weekend so they didn't have to miss any school!

Thursday we video-conferenced with Mrs. Claus! We rode the bus all the way to the high school to see her! I bet most of you have already seen the video of us... the end shows us doing the reindeer pokey!

We were busy making gifts this week! A couple for our parents and one for our Kindergarten buddies! I did take a few more pictures, but I didn't want to spoil the surprise, so I will add them to my blog later.
