Happy Summer!

I hope your kids told you about what we did on Thursday!
I told them they should say we wrote 2 journal pages, read 3 books, did math and had a healthy snack of carrots. They didn't think they should lie, so they thought they should tell you what we really did! Shaving cream, extra recess, popsicle, sorting toys, lots of brain breaks... :)

I decided to write this last post the night before the last day of school. I am already sad about not having this class anymore and don't want to stir up anymore emotions when they are actually gone! At the beginning of the year I was nervous about having 12 boys and 5 girls, but it turned out to be an AMAZING class! They worked so well together and I know they will always be one of my favorite groups! I am very lucky this year because I will always be able to keep tabs on this group since Leah is in it!
I hope everyone has a wonderful summer and hope to see you around sometime.
(And no, we are not in our house yet! We are still living with "Uncle Ryan" and it actually is going really well, except for having all our summer stuff packed away in storage. I am going to have to get that stuff out sometime! Hopefully we will be in our house by the end of June! They can take (almost) as long as they need to make everything perfect, right!?)
