Part 1 of Watermelon

A little Sight WordsTic Tac Toe! (This is something you can play at home over the summer!

 Surfing on our towels on Beach Day!

We tried to see which watermelon weighed more, so we lifted both at the same time and then had to vote which one we thought was heavier.

Then we walked down to the FACE room and weighed them to see which one was really heavier. The kids did a great job guessing!

 We read the story "The Enormous Watermelon" and then acted it out! Old Mother Hubbard planted a watermelon seed, but it grew so big she had to call other characters from nursery rhymes to help her get it home!

 We did it twice so everyone could have a chance!

 Chalk outside! What a great way to brighten the sidewalk!
