We learned about Pete the Cat this week! I can't believe what hard workers I have! They were ready to be Kindergartners. :)

We read our first book from our reading series with our very first sight word, I! It was called "I Hop" We read it in class and then to partners. This is also our homework. I would like them to read it at least 3 times to an adult or older sibling. Please sign the back and bring it back to school. Make sure they are using their pointer finger and touch each word as they read.
They love to read books when they get done with their work... especially the non-fiction books!
They were hoping they could see each other. :)
