Yeehaw!

The last 2 weeks was Rodeo Week! We had a great time learning about cowboys and the Wild West. On the day of our Rodeo we dressed up like cowboys. The kids looked amazing! We went to room 100 and did rodeo themed centers. I'm sure you have heard all about them already, but here they are!

The kids had to try to throw a hoop around the cones to see if they could lasso an animal.

We had horse races with Ms. Fenstermann's horses!

Sheep racing! The kids sure got a work out racing on the scooters!

Herding cattle! The kids had to get to keep away from the rancher (or dog) without getting caught. If they did get caught, they had to go into the "barn!"
Sheep tying with Mrs. Otte. The first one to tie up and animal with a rope and say "YEEHAW!", wins!
Coloring and reading books in the "Jail."

We made a few projects during the week, too. This one was of a cactus and we used pieces of spaghetti for the thorns (or leaves!).

 Working hard on our math!

Kyleigh turned 6! Happy birthday, Kyleigh!
