Halloween!

We began the day with a Halloween parade in the gym! We had the entire school there and each grade paraded around so we could all see everyone's costumes. We finished it by dancing to "Monster Mash."

Max was sick on Halloween, so we made sure to sneak him into our picture with the picture his mom sent of him in his costume! :)

We went down in front of the office to watch the story "The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid Of Anything." The kids loved seeing all the teachers acting it out! (Ms. Fenstermann, Mrs. Mayne, Mrs. Vacha, Mrs. Laufenberg, Mrs. Lee, and even Mrs. Otte!)- Since we were all in the play I didn't get any pictures of it... except for Ms. Fenstermann as the Little Old Lady!
Our Harvest Mix was so much fun to make! The kids were shocked to hear that we were actually going to eat the items that they brought... until they found out what everything really was! Each glass gets a lot of mix to have for snack for the next few days... or weeks if we wanted to! Instead I sent each kid home with a bag of it!
 Lunch in our costumes!

I hope your child is using their witch finger to point to the words as they read! They had a great time using it during read to self/ partner time!
